Latest updates:

- added calculation of set acceleration dynamics. Graphs of speed, acceleration and acceleration path are displayed. Values for time to plane, maximum acceleration and acceleration distance are displayed on the working point map.

 

In the latest version of the simulator, it became possible to display the thrust and torque coefficients, which allows them to be used in various calculations.

Last Updates and Installation

A new Boat-Motor-Prop Simulator Lite version 2.7 has been released!

Improved: the dimensions of the drive for the outboard motor and the stern drive are entered in the database of motors.

Added: the ability to save the dimensions of the outboard motor suspension in the test database.

Improved: algorithm for automatic correction of prop performance parameters according to test results.

Download the installer and run it.

For Windows 8 - 10, when downloading the archive, use the "Save Link As" context menu and check the checksum of the downloaded ZIP file. Perhaps this applies only to some versions of the OS.

The application is incompatible with the old version 1.x, so use another folder for the installation. The new version includes all old databases.

Routine updates

Updates are released regularly while new items are added to database or new tests are added or the program is corrected or improved.

Current file version is 2.7.2.2

To update databases and software, download the installer and during installation select the same folder in which the previous version is.

If you find errors in database records or bugs in the software, please let me know. Air and water parameters are set by default if they were not given by the tester. If you can correct an old data, please send me the record number and I will amend it.

I would appreciate any suggestions, bug reports, links to existing test data sources. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
